Abstract

The publication activity of Ukrainian and world researchers has been analyzed in the field of alternative energy with the purpose of revealing the tendencies of its development. Originality. The emphasis has been laid on its important role in providing energy and resource saving as well as in the implementation of environmental protection measures oriented to improve social and economic development standards. Results. The analysis of the main indicators of the dynamics of publication activity has been done on the world's largest databases and Ukrainian electronic resources. A comparative analysis of the market dynamics of "green bonds" and the share of alternative energy sources has been introduced. Practical value. A number of factors have been identified that hinder the growth of research in the field of alternative energy. The problem of weak orientation of the production and commercial sphere in various types of technologies of this energy has been described.
