Представлены теоретические основы составления социального портрета населения. Приведены данные официальной статистики и отдельные результаты социологических исследований, проведенных Институтом социологии Национальной академии наук Беларуси. На основе статистических и социологических данных описаны наиболее характерные черты социального портрета населения страны. The article presents the theoretical foundations for compiling a social portrait of the population. The data of official statistics and separate results of sociological research conducted by the Institute of Sociology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus are presented. Based on statistical and sociological data, the most characteristic features of the social portrait of the country's population are described.
