Abstract

The article presents the results of research on the development of methodical scheme and indicators for accessing of the potential of state forestry institutions. Approbation results on the materials of forestry enterprises of Gomel region are presented. It is proposed to group the indicators of the economic potential of forestry enterprise into five groups: “Forest area”, “Logging”, “Stock of plants of hard-to-reach parts of logging site”, “Stock of ripe and old growth plants by radioactive contamination density”, “Economic and social indicators”. The article deals with the specificity of indicators’ ranking of each group. The dependencies between indicators are revealed. Main economic indicator has been determined, which must be taken into account when choosing forestry enterprise for moving to financial independence.
