Abstract

У статті здійснено спробу показати шлях становлення індонезійської нації. Розглянуто основні віхи до прогресивного розвитку та становлення в країні ісламістської демократії, що зумовлено історичними чинни-ками й процесами. Досліджено міжнародне партнерство з провідними країнами світу, зокрема США, і перспективи подальшого прогресу Індонезії як у внутрішній політиці, так і на міжнародній арені. The purpose of this paper is to highlight the main stages of Indonesiaʼs foreign policy with the United States and countries of Asia, which affects the internal political situation in the country. Also important is providing analysis of key factors influencing the domestic and foreign policy of Indonesia and its geopolitical position of the country in the Asia- Pacific region. The article describes the features of an international partnership of Indonesia to the United States at the present stage of development. Also covers major historical processes that influenced the formation and development of Indonesia as a stable, democratic country in Southeast Asia. It reveals the complex phase of internecine conflicts within the country and colonial processes that also affected the international relations of Indonesia in the region. Available characteristic of Indonesia as the country where predominant Muslim population and a democratic direction of both within the state and internationally. In this paper briefly given characteristic relations of Indonesia with other countries in Asia, especially China is Japan and some countries in Southeast Asia. It reveals what exactly is success successful international confrontation Indonesia and in the middle of the state and the international political arena.
