Abstract

In this paper we study the problem of eigenfunctions and eigenvalues for the linear collision operator of quantum kinetic Boltzmann equation. We calculated the first eight eigenfunctions and constructed their linear combinations, which allows through successive approximations to investigate the propagation of sound waves, to describe the effects of attenuation and to calculate transport coefficients (viscosity, thermal conductivity). Given the structure of the collision integral first three eigenvalues is zero. This is due to the existence of the laws of conservation of the number of particles, momentum and energy, which are performed in collisions of particles. The following eigenvalues are not equal to zero and are negative.
