У статті розглянуто основні моделі сучасного регіонального співробітництва, його базові принципи та чинники, що гальмують процеси транскордонної співпраці. Зроблено висновки та виділено пріоритети й завдання регіональної політики, головним із яких є підвищення конкурентоспроможності регіонів України.The article describes the main model of modern regional cooperation, its basic principles in the light of new challenges arising from the National Regional Development Strategy for the period until 2020. Factors that hinder regional cooperation and cross¬border cooperation processes are also described.
