The article considers economic and legal aspects of the situation in the sphere of protection of rights of insurance services consumers. The author makes a brief overview of the situation in the insurance market of the modern Russia. The paper discusses the changes in legislation that have taken place over the past year in the field of protection of the insurance services consumers. The author argues the need to develop additional legislative initiatives aimed at improving the quality of protection of the rights of insurance services consumers in the Russian Federation.

Статья посвящена рассмотрению экономико-правовых аспектов ситуации, сложившейся в сфере защиты прав потребителей страховых услуг. Произведен краткий обзор ситуации на рынке страховых услуг современной России. Описаны изменения законодательства, имевшие место за последний год в области защиты прав потребителей страховых услуг. В заключение утверждается необходимость разработки дополнительных законодательных инициатив, направленных на улучшение качества защиты прав потребителей страховых услуг в Российской Федерации.
