Семантическая эволюция глаголов пространственного перемещения по вертикали в современном английском языке

Семантическая эволюция глаголов пространственного перемещения по вертикали в современном английском языке

Abstract

The article is devoted to the diachronic study of verbal vocabulary based on the example of the complex analysis of verbal units, which compose the group of the verbs move vertically in the contemporary English. The general meaning of the article is the classification of the verbs move horizontally as the fundamental criterion of the isolation of semantic subgroups and the historic-etymological analysis of the lexical units of this subgroup in the system of historical evolution.

В статье анализируется диахроническое изучение глагольной лексики на примере комплексного анализа глагольных единиц, составляющих группу глаголов перемещения по вертикали в современном английском языке. В основу статьи положена классификация глаголов перемещения по вертикали как принципиального критерия выделения семантических подгрупп и историко-этимологический анализ лексических единиц данной подгруппы в системе исторической эволюции.
