Abstract

A revision is carried out of the known ore-bearing units of chalcopyrite deposits of the Urals, the analysis is made of their distribution along the strike and moving away from the front line of the collision zone. A two-dimensional mathematical model is elaborated of distribution of copper pyrite deposits in the collision zone. The model adequately describes their location and scale and possesses forecast potential on revealing of new potentially ore-bearing units. A metallogenic analysis of ore units is carried out, distinguished with the help of a mathematical model. A forecast map on massive chalcopyrite mineralization and metallogenic potential of ore units is calculated and a collision zone as a whole.
