The article describes the observation of 40 patients with acute cerebrovascular accident (ACVA) by ischemic type in the stroke center of the Central city clinical hospital of Almaty. All patients underwent treatment for a stroke according to the protocol for the therapy of ACVA using standard neuroprotective therapy, and 20 patients, in addition to the treatment, received the drug Tivortin (L-arginine hydrochloride) 4.2 % — 100.0 intravenously. Comparative evaluation of the patients was carried out on days 1 and 10 of treatment. Objectively, the severity of the state, the severity of the neurologic impairment and the dynamics of clinical parameters were assessed on the scale of the National Institutes of Health (NIHSS); the degree of functional recovery was determined by Barthel index of the activities of daily living (Barthel ADL Index). The findings confirmed the effectiveness of Tivortin in the comprehensive treatment of patients with ischemic stroke in the acute period as compared to the therapy for ACVA according to the protocol.

В статье дано описание наблюдения 40 пациентов с острым нарушением мозгового кровообращения (ОНМК) по ишемическому типу в инсультном центре ЦГКБ г. Алматы. Всем пациентам было проведено лечение инсульта согласно протоколу терапии ОНМК с применением общепринятой нейропротективной терапии, а 20 пациентам к лечению был добавлен препарат Тивортин (L-аргинина гидрохлорид) 4,2% — 100,0 внутривенно. Сравнительную оценку состояния пациентов проводили на 1-е и 10-е сутки лечения. Объективно тяжесть состояния, выраженность неврологического дефицита и динамику клинических показателей оценивали по шкале Национального института здоровья (NIHSS); степень функционального восстановления определялась по индексу повседневной активности Бартел (Barthel ADL Index). Полученные данные подтвердили эффективность препарата Тивортин в комплексной терапии пациентов с ишемическим инсультом в остром периоде по сравнению с терапией ОНМК согласно протоколу.
