
The article analyses the role of the mass media in socializing the Russian youth. The author analyses the mass media as an institute of the contemporary society and analyses the factors influencing the increasing role of the mass media in personality socialization. The author also considers the forms of the mass medias influencing the mass consciousness and reveals the role of the mass media in the contemporary society and young peoples socialization.
