Abstract

The study of the brain and cardiac dopamine receptors in ovariectomized rats after experimental myocardial infarction is presented in the paper. During different phases after coronary occlusion, various changes in the affinity and density of dopamine receptors occur. The changes revealed show the dopamine involvement in the pathogenesis of cardiovascular and neurologic system morbidity during the menopause.
