Abstract

Тhe article analyses the series of so called «prohibitive decrees» of Saint Synod of Orthodox Church which were published at the last years of Peter the I rule (1721-1725) and proves the protestant character of the undertaken church reform.

В статье анализируется серия так называемых «запретительных» указов Священного Синода православной церкви, изданных в последние годы правления Петра I (1721-1725), показывается протестантский характер проводимой им церковной реформы.
