Abstract

In work the main directions of educational and scientific process at VolSU in the field of nanotechnologies are discussed. The main educational programs of VolSU providing training of specialists in the Nanotechnology direction are presented. Main objectives of activity of the scientific and educational center "Nanomaterials and Nanotechnologies" are described and a number of projects and the researches supported at the regional and federal levels in the form of grants and the state contracts are submitted. The principles of the new technologies developed by scientists of VolSU, their scientific bases and potential consumers are discussed. The conclusion is drawn on the fruitful decision by the Volgograd state university of the tasks set by educational and scientific community, for achievement of the leading positions of Russia in the world nanotechnological market.
