Abstract

В статье дана интерпретация рассказа Н.С.Лескова, вытекающая из «метафорического» прочтения произведения в библейском, ветхо- и новозаветном контексте: реальный факт вырастает в символ, метафору, даже притчу; история одного еврея опирается на поэтику евангельского повествования.
