Abstract

This article shows aspects of computer modeling for the external fixation frame using MSC.Nastran, reverse engineering software, that calculates the result based on the finite element method (FEM) which evaluates the external fixator rigidity intended for patients with extraarticular proximal femoral fractures. The application of three-core proximal system with crossed core insertion is rational.
