Abstract

By the methods of plasma atomic absorption spectroscopy and atomic absorption spectroscopy with electrothermal atomizer in the form of a graphite rod of various configurations a number of elements in some drinking and therapeutic mineral waters (sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium and zinc) as well as in industrial wastewater (chromium, nickel, cobalt, manganese and iron) were identified. In order to register analytical signal in the flame option we used integrating digital voltmeter with digital printing, thereby improving the analysis performance and its characteristics. In the flameless option (electrothermal atomizer) we used a heat stabilizer that improves the limit and the accuracy of element detection and enables to standardize the conditions of atomization.
