Abstract

The article deals with the development problems of mineral resources from the complex structure deposits located beyond the open-cast pit. It determines the application conditions of different mining methods depending on ore body location relative to the final pit. When stoping by the underground technologies at producing levels of the operating open pit there is a question of maintaining the stable state of open pit benches and walls. This objective is achieved through using the complex of a specially developed technology and measures, including some limitations, use of hardening mixtures, preliminary calculations of stability and survey control.
