Abstract

The paper analyzes the functioning of the regional political regime in the Ryazan region in 2011-2012., Study new phenomena and processes that emerged in this period also coincided with the “big election cycle” of the region (the State Duma elections, the presidential elections and the election of the Governor), study changing trends and aspects of its development towards a more explicit authoritarianism. The analysis is carried out through the examination of "critical points" or moments of uncertainty arising in this period in the functioning of the regional regime and allowing more clearly show the mechanisms and strategies to preserve, strengthen and improve the existing models in the preceding period of “moderate authoritarianism”. Based on the proposed analysis clarifies the picture of analytical data used in the study of the regional regime in the methodological concept of "four axes".
