Abstract

The communication systems using chaotic modules with nonlinear dithering have demonstrated their workability in principle, though with certain restrictions. One of the problems hindering the implementation of these systems is the probable occurrence of interference in the communication channel. In this case we have to deal with the electromagnetic compatibility problem, for solving which the development of a technique of comparative quality evaluation of chaotic communication systems is required, including the determination of admissible interference levels and possibility of reducing their effect. The influence of monochromatic interference signals in the channel of the dynamical chaos-based communication system with nonlinear dithering upon the structure of a signal extracted in the receiver is considered. The key features of interference effect on the chaotic system are revealed. The results of numerical simulation of spectral characteristics of the received signal are analyzed.
