The article is devoted to the formation of the fiscal system in Bashkiria after it had been introduced into the structure of the Russian State. The analysis represents the taxation of the Bashkirs and the size of yasak, paid by them to the Moscow treasury. The author compares the financial state of the Bashkirs before and after their union with Moscow. She also compares the size of the Bashkir yasak and the taxes collected from the Russian peasantry of that time.

Предмет статьи – конфессиональные условия, которые башкирские племена выдвинули при принятии российского подданства. Анализируются глубинные пласты башкирского мировоззрения – сложная смесь тенгрианства, язычества и ислама, проявившие себя в родовой символике: тамге, уране, дереве, птице. Исследуются причины того, почему башкиры выдвинули данное условие, и почему московская администрация согласилась его выполнить.
