Veronika. The Siberian’ tale»)

Abstract

In the course of cross-cultural contacts the layer of vocabulary denoting the elements of external cultures forms in the language. The relevance of this research is conditioned by an insufficient study of foreign-language description of the Russian culture. The purpose of the research is to analyze the linguistic means used by the author to create the image of Russia. The subject of the research is the language means creating the image of Russia, namely, culturally-marked units.
