
В статье рассматривается дуалистическая модель женственности художника Райского, в рамках которой он идеализирует Веру, возводит её на пьедестал, возвышает до идеала и в финале романа представляет свою мифологему идеальной женственности. Произведённый анализ позволяет сделать вывод, что наряду с утверждением амбивалентности женской природы герою (и автору) присуща сакрализация женщины.
The article considers dualistic model of the womanhood of the artist Ryeskii, within which he idealizes Vera, sets her on a pedestal, raises up to an ideal, and in the end of the novel presents his mythologeme of an ideal womanhood. Analysis made carries inference that together with claiming ambivalency of womanhood, the character (and author) tends to sacralize women.
