The level of endogenous intoxication has been studied in 444 patients: with inflammation of uterine appendages (98), dysfunctional uterine bleeding (123); in pregnant women with hypertensive disease (107), with chronic tonsillitis (116). It has been established that the level of endotoxemia depends on nosologic type of pathology. Blood catalase activity may be considered as a universal sign of endogenous intoxication.
