
The paper deals with the features of formation of the regional political identity. The purpose of this study is to identify relationship between cultural and historical identity and political identity on the example of the Voronezh region. This study uses some statistics to illustrate the findings. It is shown that regional identity, influenced by various factors and intended effect, is able to change that may affect the political mood. Underestimation of the regional identity in the political process can lead to negative consequences.
В статье рассматривается специфика формирования региональной политической идентичности, прослеживается взаимосвязь культурно-исторической и политической идентичности на примере Воронежской обл. Показано, что региональная идентичность под влиянием различных факторов, а также целенаправленного воздействия способна изменяться, что может отразиться на политических настроениях. Недооценка региональной идентичности в политическом процессе может привести к негативным последствиям.
