In spite of the fact that cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) helps a considerable quantity of patients, there is a category of patients for whom CRT does not render due clinical effect. Each doctor applying CRT subjectively evaluates a measure of its efficiency for patients. One of the methods to increase the quantity of responders is to find an optimum place for implantation of an electrode for LV stimulation. The majority of researchers point to the lateral and postero-lateral walls as an optimum place for stimulation of the left ventricle. However, there is no common opinion on clinical indicators, which could define the ideal responder or predict more or less exact probability of the response to CRT.
