Abstract

Th e article analyses the main factors which have infl uenced formation and development of football fans movements in Russia and Western Europe. Th e author formulates criteria to diff erentiate zealous football supporters from ordinary football fans and outlines a social portrait of a football supporter. Th e author pays a lot of attention to the problem of involving football supporters into politics, determining their political views, social and political values and goals. He analyses the history of supporters movements in Russia, gives a forecast of the course of things in future

В статье анализируются основные факторы, оказавшие влияние на формирование и развитие фанатских движений в России и Западной Европе. Представлен авторский взгляд на критерии, по которым можно различать футбольных фанатов и обычных болельщиков, обрисован социальный портрет футбольного фаната. Особое внимание уделено проблеме вовлечения футбольных фанатов в поле политики, формированию их политических взглядов, социально-политических ценностей и целей. Анализируется история фан-движений в России, дается прогноз развития ситуации в ближайшем будущем.
