Система значений функционально-семантической категории модальности русского языка в зеркале китайского языка

Abstract

В статье приведены некоторые результаты контрастивного анализа полей модальности в русском и китайском языках. Предложена модель устройства категории модальности в русском языке. В основу создания модели положен общенаучный логический метод дихотомической классификации, известный в лингвистике как «метод оппозиций». Оппозитивные значения разного уровня образуют дерево оппозиций. Модели данного типа широко используются в направлении функционально-коммуникативной грамматики, так как удобны для систематизированного представления языковых средств выражения понятийных категорий. Представленная модель представляет собой не только попытку исчисления важнейших для коммуникации модальных смыслов, но и объяснения межкатегориального взаимодействия модальности и волюнтивности в зоне «Необходимости Ненужности».

The paper proposes some results of contrastive analysis of modality fields in Russian and Chinese languages, and offers a model of modality in the Russian language. This model is founded on general scientific logical method of dichotomous classification, known in linguistics as “method of oppositions”. Opposite values of different levels form the tree of oppositions. Models of this type are widely used in functional communicative grammar, being convenient for systematic presentation of the linguistic means of conceptual categories’ expression. The model presented here is not only an attempt to communicate the most important calculations of modal meanings, but is also trying to explain the intercategorial interaction of modality and voluntivity in the area of “necessity irrelevance”.
