In the article the problem of a combination of centralism and decentralism in local self-government in considered, and the analysis is performed through the lenses of features of the present correlation in the Russian Federation. The special way of the problem solving of a combination of centralism and decentralism on the basis of the essential indications of the Russian local self-government determining its successorship throughout historical development is allocated.

В статье рассматривается проблема сочетания централизма и децентра-лизма в местном самоуправлении, причём анализ осуществляется через призму особенностей данного соотношения в Российской Федерации.
