Abstract

In article attempt to use modern methodology for the analysis of appearance of the fi rst impostor in a context of the domestic and western cultural traditions is undertaken. Are investigated perception by the Russian and European contemporaries of physical features of a False Dmitry I and its murders with the subsequent symbolical violation of a body. It is shown that corporal signs of the impostor were differently perceived by participants and witnesses of those drama events depending on what carriers of cultural traditions they were.
