Новый словарь пермских диалектологов

Новый словарь пермских диалектологов

Abstract

In the review a response to the first edition of a new edition of «Dictionary of Russian dialects of the north of Perm Krai» (Perm, 2011) compiled by Perm researchers is presented. The place of the new dictionary among dictionaries of the Perm dialects published by researchers of the Perm linguistic school is identified; the principles of vocabulary formation and specificity of the structure of the vocabulary are considered; types and character of the dialect lexicon reflected in the dictionary are analysed. The author shows such advantages of description of the dictionary structure of the dialects in the dictionary as, for example, differentiation of polysemy and homonymity, description of word-formation chains, nature of semantic dialecticisms, and marks value of experience of Perm researchers that can be useful for compiling Russian dialect dictionaries.
