Abstract

The paper presents a current approach to treatment of patients with orthopaedic pathology associated with imperfect osteogenesis as well as a promising trend of drug therapy of bone tissue and surgical treatment of pathological fractures and axial deformation of long bones. The authors analyzed the results of treatment of 22 patients with imperfect osteogenesis using a new method consisted of pathogenetic antiosteoporosis therapy and «growing» telescope-type intramedullary constructions. The effectiveness and potential of the mentioned method for treatment and prevention have been determined and approved through objective evidence.
