Abstract

Dynamics of immune status was studied in 60 patients with primary nonresectable lung cancer receiving chemotherapy and the one combined with photochromotherapy by non-coherent red spectrum in two regimens. We found positive changes in the content of some quantitive and qualitive characteristics of cellular immunity (CD4+, CD8+, NK, B-cells) after administration of blood photomodified ex vivo while in the control group of patients decrease of the parameters was observed. Thus photochromotherapy is able to cause immunoprotective effect in lung cancer undergoing chemotherapy and partly to improve its` result.
