Первая чехословацкая Республика: историография вопроса в начале ХХ1 в

Abstract

During the first decade of the twenty-first century the theme of the First Czechoslovak Republic continued to be the topical subject of studies of the Czech and Slovak scientists. It can be divided into some aspects, which are public, political, socio-economic and cultural. The subject of the political system of inter-war Czechoslovakia remains the part within certain historical and chronological boundaries which form Czech and Slovak historical science. For a detailed analysis of the problems of the parties, leading scientists from the Czech Republic and Slovakia used the unpublished memoir sources, and revealed truly the past historiography and its reflection. The idea of creating materials highlighting the development of political concepts and programs of political parties that functioned in Czechoslovakia during the inter-war period was one of the important issues of the XXI century for Czech and Slovak historians. The newest phase of historiography of the Czech Republic and Slovakia is characterized by the appearance of a complex labour, which addressed to the problematic aspects of agriculture in the republic. Determining the education level in this area has formed the historiography of the social question in agricultural sector, which is not enough studied. In historiography the scientists used historically comparative research methods to determine the specificity of the issue of the inter-war economic elites. Czech and Slovak scholars pay attention to the biographies of leading personalities (T.G. Masa-ryk, E. Benes, and others), who directly influenced the formation and development of the new state. The historical legacy of political figures of the Czechoslovak Republic is a valuable scientific base, it is kept in major research institutions of the Czech Republic, and the materials of their lives are contained in private archives of their friends and colleagues. It should be noted that researchers have focused attention on the philosophical aspects of the politicians, and factors which influenced the way of thinking of historical personalities, as well as the methods of implementing these ideas in the interwar Czechoslovak society. From the first years of the XXI century the attention shifts more actively to the studies, which reveal the position of the regional historical science. The problematic aspects of the socio-political life of Czech towns and cities during the existence of the Czechoslovak Republic are the object of the study.
