The article covers the general principles of allocation of the components within the structure of revenues and costs for transportation. It also analyzes the infrastructure factor within the cost structure, reveals the relationship between the car-kilometer operation in suburban transportation and the income, obtained by JSC "Russian Railways" from the provision of infrastructure services.

Рассмотрены общие принципы выделения составляющих в структуре доходов и расходов по перевозкам. Проанализирована инфраструктурная составляющая в структуре расходов, выявлена взаимосвязь между вагоно-километровой работой в пригородном сообщении и полученными ОАО «РЖД» доходами от оказания услуг инфраструктуры.
