Abstract

The article presents data from a study of Armadin clinical efficacy in patients with acute ischemic stroke, its influence on the course of acute phase of the stroke, mortality, prevention of complications in the early recovery period and laboratory parameters. It has been proved that application of Armadin in the combined treatment of ischemic stroke helps to restore lost functions in patients in the acute period, has a positive effect on the self-care and independence of outside help, prevents complications and recurrent cerebrovascular disturbances in the acute phase of ischemic stroke, affects the reactive anxiety and reduces its manifestations. It is found that Armadin improves blood lipids, so it can be used in patients with hypercholesterolemia and dyslipidemia.
