Abstract

The aim. of the present research was to study the frequency of supraventricular arrythmias in patients with cardiovascular disease in rural population of Krasnoyarsk Territory. We examined. 1203 patients aged. 16 and older (474 males, 729 females). 215 patients, picked up by random, sampling, were questioned, examined with echo cardiogram. (ECG) and by Holter monitoring. In the examined population, according to ECG, we observed supraventricular extrasystole (8,9 %), the rarest was fibrillar arrhytmia (1,5 %). According to Holter monitoring of the examined, people supraventricular extrasystole was marked, in 56,7 %, paroxysms of supraventricular tachyarrythmia in 10,2 % cases. In. the examined, population the frequency of supraventricular arrythmias was increasing progressively with age. The majority of people suffering from, supraventricular arrythmias had. cardiovascular diseases. Most often arterial hypertension and less often coronary artery disease were diagnosed.. People with this dysfunction aged. 40 and over were suffering from, cardiovascular disease much more often than those aged. 16-39.
