Страхование депозитов как инструмент финансового регулирования

Abstract

Большое количество стран по всему миру разработали системы страхования вкладов для защиты потребителей, предотвращения системных рисков в финансовом секторе и достижения иных социально-экономических целей. В статье исследуются особенности систем страхования вкладов (организационная структура, механизмы финансирования, страховые премии, правовые ограничения и т. д.) с целью оценки эффективности страхования вкладов как инструмента финансового регулирования. Рассматривается вопрос о том, достижимы ли обычные задачи финансового регулирования через систему страхования вкладов. Автор статьи также пытается разъяснить круг проблем, связанных с разработкой и функционированием жизнеспособной системы страхования вкладов в условиях переходной экономики.
