Abstract

The influence of inhibitor AMDOR IC-7 on St3 steel in sligtly acidic media containing NaCl (5,8 g/l) in the presence of hydrogen sulphide and carbon dioxide has been studied. The protective action of AMDOR IC-7 increases with the reduction in pH and introduction of H 2S and CO 2. The investigated inhibitor slows down the anodic reaction of steel ionization.
