Abstract

Thermodynamic properties of nitrite-nitrate carries NaNO2-KNO3 have been calculated. The activity and activity coefficient values of the components of the NaNO2-KNO3 system determined from the experimental data of measurements of the saturated vapor pressure at 798, 823, and 848 K have been used to calculate the relative and excess partial molar Gibbs energies ( ΔGi and exc ΔGi ), entropies ( ΔSi and exc ΔSi ), and integral relative and excess thermodynamic functions ( ΔG, ΔGexc , ΔS and ΔSexc ) of the system.
