Abstract

The article is devoted to a new direction in petroarheology developed by the authors the technological arheominerageny. This direction considers the relationship between raw materials and flaking technologies, those used by the ancient inhabitants of the Transbaikalie, and paleovolcanoes as raw materials sources. By focusing on the specific sources of raw materials (paleovolcano in yields gems of raw materials, the manifestations of silicified volcanic rocks) in a short time and with minimal effort found informative objects of the Stone Age. These include sites on paleovolcanoes Dunda Agha in the basin of Hoyto Agha River. In the field of development of paleovulkanoes in the northern coast of Torei lakes and canyons in Shivychi by Kyrinsky district of TransBaikal region. It is concluded that this findings may be new workshops and multilayer archaeological sites in the northern framed of Torey Lakes and Argun River Area due to volcanic formations developed here. This will enable a new level of understanding about the raw materials factor in the life of ancient communities.
