Abstract

This is a paper presented at the Fifth International Conference on the Foundations of Information Science (FIS-2013) that took place at Moscow University for the Humanities on May 21–23, 2013. The author proposes a theoretical solution to the mind-brain problem following the informational approach. It includes an explanation of the connection of the phenomena of consciousness with brain processes and a clarification of their causative function.

Статья представляет собой текст доклада на Пятой международной научной конференции «Фундаментальные основы информационной науки» (FIS-2013), проходившей 21–23 мая 2013 г. в Московском гуманитарном университете.Автор предлагает теоретическое решение проблемы «сознание и мозг» на основе информационного подхода. Оно включает объяснение связи явлений сознания с мозговыми процессами и объяснение их каузальной функции.
