Abstract

The methodological aspect of the selection process economic assessment on the example of the gladiolus is presented in the article. The concepts of selection and innovative processes in floriculture are theoretically proved and the interrelation of these concepts is revealed. The main biological, organizational and economic peculiarities of the flower culture selection efficiency assessment are presented. The most important indices of the selection process efficiency in the gladiolus natural and artificial crossing are given.
