
In the article the author investigates the main trends and methods of organization of the missionary work on the territory of the Moscow diocese during the specified period. He characterizes the personal composition and device of the church brotherhoods that served the process of organizing of the church mission; gives the estimation of the number of the old believers in the Moscow province and specifies the particularities of their territorial concentration and internal differences. In addition the author marks the supportive measures of the local powers for an orthodox missionary work.
В статье рассмотрены основные направления и методы организации миссионерской работы на территории Московской епархии указанного периода. Охарактеризован персональный состав и устройство церковных братств, служивших организационной формой церковной миссии. Дана оценка численности старообрядцев Московской губернии. Указаны особенности их территориальной концентрации и внутренние различия. Обозначены меры местных властей по поддержке православного миссионерства.
