The paper presents the comparative analysis of three advanced technologies for heterogeneous information systems implementation (EII, EAI and ETL) including their benefits, scope of coverage and weak points. For the most perspective and appropriate implementation technology, Enterprise Information Integration (EII), the agent-based method of heterogeneous information systems modeling is described by means of available approach capabilities.
