
In this article a comparative analysis of the pronominal system of the Rutul and English languages is conducted. The research material of the paper that concerns the Rutul language is presented by the literary language and Mochalsky and Anowsky dialects of Rutul. In the base of the research the author holds on to the idea that pronouns are the most ancient layer n any language. The English pronouns have remainders of the old system of case endings than the nouns. The author contributes to the development of the general theory of cases. The author finds evidence for four cases in the case system of the English language at a certain period of its development that completely reduced by the present time. The system of the endlings of pronouns in Rutul and English remain diachronically important traits that represent the very core of the philosophy of the language.
В данной статье проводится сравнительный анализ прономинальной системы рутульского и английского языков. Материалом исследования рутульского языка служит литературный язык, мухадский и хновский диалекты. Принято считать, что местоимения представляют собой наиболее древний пласт языка, местоимение английского языка сохранило больше падежных значений, чем существительное. На основе полученных результатов автор вносит свой вклад в развитие общей теории падежа. Областью применения полученных результатов этого исследования может быть кавказоведение и сравнительное языкознание.
