Abstract

Etiology, development and treatment algorithm of aseptic loosening of hip joint were analyzed at the 6th Minsk City Hospital to improve results of treatment of patients. The choice of acetabular component of total hip endoprosthesis replacement is currently one of the most debated issues in the world of orthopedics. The study is based on analysis of the survey results and treatment of 51 patients with aseptic loosening of the hip prosthesis components at the age of 30 to 84 years. The use of differentiated surgical tactics allowed to achieve good and satisfactory functional outcomes in 92.1% of cases. The use of massive implants reconstructive Burch-Schneider ring or modular cementless cups LINK CombiCupR improved the efficiency of surgical treatment of aseptic loosening of the hip joint with the loss of anterior and posterior column of the acetabulum bone substance.
