Abstract

The effects of the repetitive microwaves RPM (Russia, 10 GHz, 100 ns pulse duration, pulse repetition rate 8 pps, 1500 W/cm2 peak power density) and/or herbal solution on the healing processes of neurogenous mucosal ulceration was investigated. It was shown that the repetitive pulsed microwaves can change the regeneration rate. The laboratory generator based on the MI-505 magnetron served as a RPM source. The natural reparation and repair process initiated by the repetitive microwave, herbal solution or by their combination had complicated dynamic and nonlinear character. If the dynamics of the natural reparation is compared with repair process after exposure of RPM or herbal solution it is revealed that this factors taken apart can speed up (accelerate) ulceration healing. RPM is a more effective factor especially after 3days of exposure. The partnering of this two factors also reduced the number of ulcerations after 3days of exposure, but the effect of partnering of RPM and herbal solution were less than the effects of each taken separately. The reason can be interactions between different reactive oxygen species. The product of such interaction is peroxinitrit, that can inhibit the regeneration processes. The data obtained led to the conclusion that the optimal resource of using RPM as a physical agent for different ulceration healing can be found. There is the problem of combined RPM application and other forms of nonmedicamental healing as herbal solution is. The possible mechanisms of the regeneration processes in different improvement conditions were investigated.
