Фразеологические выражения с «Анималистической спецификой» в современном английском языке

Abstract

В статье рассматриваются устойчивые выражения «с анималистической спецификой», широко употребляющиеся в современном английском языке. Автор выражает надежду, что именно устойчивый узус данных лексических единиц позволит им сохраниться в языке.The paper deals with set expressions, having various animal species used in them, which are widely employed in English. The conclusion implies the author’s hope that these lexical units will survive in the language due to their expressive power and numerous applications.
