Abstract

Engineering philosophies of the covering material proportion based on the high-alumina refractory for the burning zone of revolver furnaces are set out. Research data confirming the concrete efficacy based on high-alumina aluminous cement using the aggregate white electromelted corundum of Tikhvin alumina plant are presented. The construction of two-layer blocks is offered.
